Cadoxton Methodist Church will be the Data Controller for the personal data you provide through the email info@cadoxton.org.uk. The data will be used to identify you and provide you with the most appropriate advice and support.

The collected information will be accessible by a small number of church administrators including the Minister’s of the church.

Under data protection legislation, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you.

We do not pass on your details to any third party outside of the church and our administrators will not use your details in any way other than to respond to your enquiries.
 

3. How long are your details kept

Once contact has been made through info@cadoxton.org.uk, your details will only be retained on our systems for up to 1 year as part of our ongoing training and quality reviews. If your enquiry relates to a wedding, baptism or christening, your personal details will be registered on a legal file and the church will ask if you are happy for us to keep your details on a register to periodically alert you about church activities or events.
 

4. Your rights

Under the data protection legislation, you have the right to:

  • require us to rectify inaccuracies in that data;
  • (in certain circumstances) object to or restrict processing;
